This awesome, but to those who have read the books 2010 was not Arthur C. Clarke's last novel in the series, it has a total of 8 novels and it isn't till the last one he finally fully lets us in on the real purpose and meaning of the Monolith. Great Sci-Fi series. Love Arthur C. Clarke's books, I have only read the first and the 3rd book in the series, the library I went to had 2 out. But I have the original movies on old VHS tapes, and love what Stanely Kubrik did with the films.
